I’m President of Gifu Junior Chamber, and we are actively engaged in the activity of ‘Upbringing human resources’ and ‘Developing the community’.
Since its establishment, we have been making policy proposal to the local government, leadership development of our members, upbringing the younger generation, and community development so that we could generate the continuous power of community. In addition to that, we aim at improving with our own nature and skill as a businessman, through the activity of planning and executing such work which shall contribute to the society.
Recently, the neighboring countries have accomplished remarkable economic development in spite of holding various problems.
I’m wondering that, in such international situation, we Japanese are now losing the standard with which we could judge what is right and what is wrong. Therefore, all the more, Gifu JC members are aware of the importance of the word ‘Wisdom, Courage and Passion’, and we are making our best efforts to maximize the vitality of the community, by combining the power of citizen, company and administration.
We advocate the slogan “Spiral-up Gifu Power !” to express the essence of such activity. And we expect that people could feel at ease, feel prosper of community and feel mutual aid in Gifu.
This year, with the cooperation of local people, we are going to make ‘TEAMS’ which called “WA” in Japanese. Then, the TEAMS are going to draw exciting dreams and making actions to embody them.
Moreover, we are going to have another look at local treasures composing of traditional, historical and cultural elements in the area. Then, we are going to try to sublimate them into new values.
On the other hand, in the respect of upbringing the younger generation, with cooperation of local people, we try to ?develop community in which kids can have their dreams, challenge daringly, bring up their creativity, and find sense of values to be devoted.
2010 is the memorial year for us as it’s turned 60 years from establishment, so we have decided to put our steps ahead to acquire ‘Public Interest Incorporated Association‘.
We thank every administration. We thank every people in Gifu. We thank all the seniors of JC. Looking back toward the footprints of the organization, I cannot help thanking those concerned for their understanding and cooperation. And now I profess I work afresh both sincerely and actively, as a leader of Gifu JC.
Finally, I would like to thank all the friends with the same will, and ask for their kind understanding and continuous support to us.
